The Future of SEO Lies In the Hands Of Internet TV
For anyone expecting to offer relevent marketing in the near future, Internet television services will be key. SEO once was primarily text descriptions , content reviewing and general article databases, but those days are soon to be over. Everything from news to movies will become part of the SERP ( search engine results pages) and is going to offer up videos as content along with any text and images. This is not completely new, there have been predecessors like Web TV, some digital cable companies and even satellite has tried to become ready for this trend. Apple TV has a reputation for being too pop culture oriented and technically elitist in the design of their platform by much of the industry. At this point, that is the main argument being offered up against them. It is at best speculation and Apple has shown itself to be ahead of the game more often as the computer industry has grown. So in reality, no one can be sure of anything yet. Apple TV is as competent a company and has the resources to match Google easily.

In basic terms, here is what the real pot of gold looks like to both Google TV and Apple TV.
If the World Wide Web and the television markets fully merge, then so must all the collected data. The ability to use both broadcast influence with SEO information would allow for more profitable advertising revenues than ever before. As the technology becomes more perfected they user will be able to watch their favorite television shows, but simultaneously web surf as they do so. The information about shopping habits, personal politics, style preferences, general location and even lifestyle would be gathered by just letting the users entertain themselves. Over time there will be a wealth of free and accurate information about everything the person does and uses. All of this being ripe for the picking of any companies ready to seize it.
